Sarah holds a Degree in Physical Education and Sports Science with Honours from The Nanyang Technological University (NTU). During her degree program, she did a double major Sports management and Sports Psychology. She also has two Diploma’s in Physical Education and Quality Engineering.

She is an accredited and licensed coach with the Singapore Sports Council - National Registraty of Coaches (NROC) as well as a certified first aider from the Singapore Red Cross and also a certified lifeguard from the Singapore Lifesaving Association (SLSS).

Prior to becoming a full time coach Sarah worked with Ministry of Education (Singapore) as a teacher for over 10 years. She has a wealth of knowledge in working with young children especially in the physical education domain.

Since her school days, she has competed in many Inter-Varsity Competitions in Cross-Country, Biathlon and Triathlon. She has had numerous podium finishes in various endurance races ranging from Marathons to Triathlons.

As a mother of two, Sarah hopes to share her love for swimming and children with everyone. She believes that with good pedagogy, everyone - young or old can learn how to swimming and enjoy it!
