1. Perform all lifting exercises in a slow and controlled motion
  2. Perform all lifting exercises through its full range of motion
  3. Leave a day or two to rest between training sessions for the same body part to allow for muscle repair and growth
  4. Do not hold breath, but exhale through the lift.
    • Holding breath
    • Blood pressure rises in the body (heart attack risk, blood pressure in head rises)
    • Release weight/breath
    • Blood pressure drops extremely rapidly
    • Blood flows away from head
    • Potential to “black out”
